Assignment title: Brochure Design – Sweet Satisfaction

What I learned: I learned to creatively come up with an idea for a business and narrow in on a specific target market in order to make my brochure as interesting and informative to them as possible. 

Reflection to assignment: I learned the essentials of marketing as well as brochure design with this assignment.  The price of the products offered must be competitive within the market I’m trying to enter and there must be sales promotions in order to attract customers and bring them into the store.

Relevance to the profession:  Learning to market effectively one’s services effectively is essential to the dietetics profession.  When trying to start a business, market a product or attract new customers, it is essential to know how to market to the target audience and be able to design a brochure, pamphlet, poster, flier etc that will attract their attention and get them to buy the product or service being offered.
